CIRCLE
SHAM SHUI PO. HONG KONG
Ghost Drawing on see-through fabric, connecting tv aireals,
patches of green, street lights and lights in windows later
at night going on and off, and memories. not only my memories
as its just a drop into this buzzing with ghosts city. drawing
memories as material bodies, clouds of fast birds in the orange
air. Normally in my work i concern about surface and action
in front of it, but this time surface was disolved in the air
and drawing was happening in the air and line was connecting
things from far away with things which are very close turning
perspective into chaos, dance into ghost dance. King of Kowloon
is wondering streets, leaving his royal scripts on the walls
of the great city where smoke from 1000 cigaretes is raising
into the sky. Circle became a cube - and it realy didn't metter
what shape was it as the shape was a transparent gaze, a ghost
shaped by geometry of the city. some places are just unpaintable,
but can relate to an endless repetition of black lines
